NUMBERS
12-12-12
Looking at today's very unique date brings to mind another pair of numbers
that also bring a smile to my face:  7-7
Seven years and seven months ago I began my daily ventriloquist blog*.
I thought it was temporary for those who were then members of the NAAV.
That organization is now history and I'm still typing - what's the deal?
(Maybe I should check the Myan calender ...)

* I've actually had two blogs. First "Newsy Vents", beginning in May, 2005. Then January 2009 I switched Mr. D's Journal 2009.   With only rare misses, I've published daily on both.

Thank YOU for the support of your visits.  Without you I would just be typing to myself.

Hi Mr D, not sure but I reckon I must have been pretty close to the last Aussie to receive a written News Vents - a sad day - but more than made up by your subsequent blogs which are informative, interesting, encouraging, enjoyable and just plain terrific - thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for your past and present efforts - I'm sure the vent community could give a hearty cheer to the endeavours of the mighty Mr. D. Congrats for all you do.

I sure need my 'Daily Dose' of your blog, Mr. D. Sometimes I miss a day or two, due to circumstances beyond my control. But, I sure enjoy catching up.

Thank you so much Mr. D.

Thank You Clinton! You certainly are not not just writing to yourself. There are many of us that check your blog several times every day. Checking your blog is the second thing I do every morning. I check my email and then your blog. When you do miss a day (and they have been very very few) we all hope you are okay. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. Ron

Thank you and congratulations Clinton, on a significant milestone. It's hard to believe that it's been that long since a daily "visit" with you every day, wherever we happened to be, became a much enjoyed part of the daily routine. May you live in god health to carry on for many more years to come.
    Blessings,
    Canon John Jordan.

  6. Well, as ventriloquists we talk to ourselves, so why not type to yourself? You would probably never have any negative comments.
