Protecting figure's head and hands

Question: Mr. Detweiler, Do you sell the Head and Hand covers?
* * * * *
Answer: Not any more. Try slipping a pair of child's socks or mittens over the hands. And a scarf, t-shirt, or similar material around the head. Avoid terry material over the head (towel, etc.), only because it tends to muss the hair more than a material that is smoother with less nap.

And this excellent suggestion just in from another reader:
"To protect the head and face in a case, a ski-mask put over the head backwards (with the eye-opening at the back of the head, and the face fully covered) works very well."

And from Bob Abdou: "I got a tip that works wonders if your dummy wears glasses; I got this tip from Ron Lighty. Put goggles on the dummy, it protects the glasses, it works great for my John Lennon soft puppet, glasses don't break or bend in packing."
