Generational work

From Lori Schnell:

Well, Arthur ("Pappy") arrived today and he wants a chance to win that Vent necklace on your blog. It's great for me to own both generations of Detweiler figures!

From Mr. D: I wonder if it means anything that the younger Detweiler made the elder and the elder Detweiler made the younger? You do have your hands full! (And we are appreciative!)

I don't recall ever seeing the "younger" figure pictured on the right. Is this available?

  2. He was built during the years of 1970-1973. I tried to duplicate once in the '80s but gave up -my skills and methods had evolved to the point where I couldn't duplicate my own past work.

    What a beautiful old man.
Do you also make puppets for 'strangers'.
I wish to have "his wife".
    With kind regards
