The pieces came to me rattling around in a box - I wonder what my postman thought? When reassembled, more was missing than in hand. Can it be restored? Yes, but not overnight.
If you are like me, you are wondering what tragedy befell this Poor fellow. I do not know, but I can tell you that whatever took place, it was not an accident!
To be continued...
Whoa!
ReplyDeleteIs it more difficult to restore something like this than it is to simply build a new figure?
How long will it take to restore it?
It would be simpler to build a new figure. However, we want the same character and that character's mold no longer exists. Thus, a rebuild is the best option. Actually, it won't take as long as you might think. "Stay tuned..."
DeletePuts a whole new meaning on the phrase, "Heading for trouble!" Looks like a figure I saw years ago. Right in the middle of the performance the head fell right off, hit the edge of the platform, bounced off and hit the floor another 3 feet below! The figure looked about like that. The poor vent just stood there in shock. Needless to say, she didn't finish the routine. It's one thing when the string breaks, but the whole head. . . ? Poor little guy.
