After attending the Texas Ventriloquist gathering hosted by Bob and June Abdou ealier this Spring, Vhonda Arnold wrote these words:
"I knew I had a calling, but I never knew what it was until I met the wonderful people at Saturday's gathering. I haven't laughed so hard in 30 years. Talk about a feel good shot in the arm - wow! Thank you so very much for letting me know you can have fun and get paid, too. What a wonderful life my husband and I are having after that one day. We talk of that day a lot, and laugh and smile all over again. The words, 'Thank you', really aren't enough."
If you are reading this and have been trying to decide whether it would be worth your while to get together with other vents at a convention or similar, don't put off your decision any longer. Trust me, your experience and reaction will be the same as Vhondas!

My wife isn't kidding either. We did indeed enjoy ourselves at the Texas Gathering. We hope it will continue and grow larger.
