When this figure arrived for repair and refurbishing, I hoped opening the head would solve the mystery of its maker. But, no such luck - nary a single identification mark.
We know it is about 70 years old, if not older. Carved of wood. Maybe a Mack?

I don't know, but it does have that bulbous quality reminiscent of very early Mack. LeeDean
