Dave Miller's original Ventoon, "Family Portrait", from 1974, is printed inside the back cover of Lesson 18 (Build Your Own Dummy plans, Maher Traditional Course, 1975 edition, page 19). I cut off the back cover of one lesson so I could mat and frame this compelling cartoon.
