Follow his good advice, and stick to his programme. Please permit me one caveat, Steve, which I offer with the very best motives in mind - also the product of experience. Maybe at 83 I am more and more conscious of these things, but as I recall, it was good advice given to me over sixty years ago. It concerns the most important habit of keeping well hydrated to keep the voice and throat in good order. BUT - remember just before you take the stage, make a necessary visit to the washroom, to avoid embarrassment in the midst of your programme.
